Permit & Utility
The design is submitted to both the AHJ and Utility company once design approval is received. At this point, it is very important we are checking into the account to ensure there is no HO action pending that is delaying the permitting process.
When permitting is begun, the homeowners will have signature requests in their email. It is the responsibility of the Account Manager to follow up with homeowners to ensure that these signatures get completed.
Permit and Utility approvals can take anywhere from 3 days to 3 months, so we need to be sure to keep in contact with the homeowner to keep them updated on their project and reminding them what we are waiting on in order to move into the next step!
